Arverne Group and E.Leclerc Group Collaborate on Geothermal Energy Project

Arverne Group partners with E.Leclerc Group to integrate geothermal energy into the Frouard supermarket in the Grand Est region of France.

The project aims to cover part of the supermarket's energy needs with geothermal energy, aligning with E.Leclerc Group's environmental strategy.

E.Leclerc Group's Chairman, Michel-Édouard Leclerc, visited the geothermal drilling site on June 4, 2025.

The geothermal solution installation is part of E.Leclerc Group's environmental strategy, showcasing the company's commitment to sustainability.

The Frouard supermarket will feature 53 shallow geothermal drillings, each 150 meters deep, beneath the existing parking lot.

The project required a team of nine people to drill and connect the geothermal solution, taking three months to complete.

This project highlights Arverne Group's expertise in harnessing underground resources to transform them into renewable energy.

The partnership marks the beginning of a lasting momentum around renewable, discreet, decarbonized, and sovereign energy sources.

Arverne Group aims to become the French leader in geothermal energy and its by-products, including low-carbon geothermal lithium.

The company is listed on Euronext Paris and has a mission-driven approach, with a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
